Noticeboard

Out of Hours

Your GP out-of-hours services are the responsibility of the Clinical Commissioning Group. If you or your family need urgent medical care when the surgery is closed, please phone 111 for the out-of-hours services.

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10am if you require a home visit. A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to see a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

Urgent Appointments

If you have a problem which you feel needs attention urgently on the same day and cannot await a routine consultation, please phone the Receptionist, who will take your details and ask a clinician to phone you back, and they will then deal with your problem in the most appropriate manner.

Distance Selling Pharmacies

We have a number of patients who use distance selling pharmacies, such as Pharmacy2u, to order their medication.

Where this is the case, we send the prescription on to the distance selling pharmacy when requested by post as we do not do the Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS).   Should medication then not be received from the distance selling pharmacy, this needs to be taken up with them directly.  Your surgery will not be able to help at this stage.

Please note that distance selling pharmacies like this are only allowed to deal with patients by post, telephone or internet, not in person.

    WELCOME TO BELVOIR HEALTH GROUP

We are a large practice covering an extensive rural area and population. There are 11 GP Partners in the non-limited Partnership of Belvoir Health Group, practising from our surgeries in Cropwell Bishop, Cotgrave and Bingham.

Flu clinic dates

We are now able to confirm dates for our drop in flu clinics.

The initial clinics are for patients who are aged 65+ or who will be 65 by 31st March 2020.

65+ clinics:
Bingham - Friday 13th September 2-6pm
Cotgrave - Tuesday 17th September 2-6pm
Cropwell Bishop - Thursday 19th September 2-6pm

There are then further clinics for all eligible patients, including those 65+, those who are younger but who are in a clinical risk group, who are pregnant or who are carers.

All eligible patients aged 18+:
Cropwell Bishop - Tuesday 15th October 3.30-6pm
Bingham - Saturday 19th October 9am-12 midday
Cotgrave - Thursday 24th October - 3.30-6pm

See https://www.nhs.uk/…/vaccinati…/who-should-have-flu-vaccine/ if you are unsure if you are eligible.

Patients who are under 18 will be contacted directly to make separate arrangements.

Patients can attend any of the clinics detailed above as indicated, regardless of which surgery they are registered at.

Last year we experienced some issue with availability of vaccine for patients 65+. Please be assured that this will not be an issue this year.

PATIENT SURVEY

Our Patient Participation Group are running a survey about the practice. The same survey is being run across all Rushcliffe practices until the end of November.

Please take a moment to complete it if you can.

Take the survey.

ONLINE SERVICES

We now offer patients at all of our surgeries a range of online services via our website. These include the ability to book routine appointments online, to request repeat prescriptions and to view your summary medical record including past and current medications and recorded allergies.

You can register for these services by visiting your surgery and speaking with one of our receptionists. You will need to bring with you photographic identification (passport or driving license) and one other form of identification confirming your current address. For more information please click here.

EXTENDED HOURS APPOINTMENTS

As a Rushcliffe patient you can now access routine appointments in the evenings and at weekends. These appointments are best suited for things that will not need ongoing review by your usual practice.

You can book through your surgery during opening hours for appointments between 6.30pm and 8pm in the evening on weekdays and between 8.30am and 12.30pm at weekends. If you request one of these appointments, which are outside of usual working hours you will be offered a slot with a Rushcliffe GP, Nurse or Healthcare Assistant at one of three locations across the borough.

The location will depend on the day of your appointment.

The additional evening and weekend appointments will be available at:

  • East Bridgford Medical Centre
  • Castle Healthcare Practice in West Bridgford
  • Keyworth Medical Practice.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL EXTENDED HOURS APPOINTMENTS ARE PREBOOKABLE ONLY BY CONTACTING YOUR OWN GP PRACTICE.

THERE IS NO WALK IN SERVICE OFFERED.

IF YOU REQUIRE URGENT ASSISTANCE BEFORE 8AM OR AFTER 6.30PM, PLEASE CALL 111.

Infection Control Statement

You can find the practice's annual infection control statement clicking Infection Control Statement.

ARE YOU REGISTERED WITH THE PRACTICE - do we have your correct details?
