Opening of the new Bingham Medical Centre - LATEST NEWS

The new Bingham Medical Centre opened to the public on Monday 11th November. We are delighted with the new building and feedback from patients has so far been extremely positive.

Building work will continue for a while longer on the current site whilst the existing Surgery is demolished in order to make way for car parking and access. This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of January 2014. During this period, access to the new surgery will be from the entrance located on Newgate Street.

Whilst access is only through the Newgate Street entrance, if arriving by car or dropping patients off, please endeavour not to block Newgate Street or park on the pavement as this causes disruption to traffic, pedestrians and neighbours. Once the main entrance is open, drop offs should be made in Newgate Street car park.

The new centre provides family doctor and community- based services such as district nurses, health visitors and midwives. There are more clinical rooms which will allow Bingham Surgery to provide for Bingham’s projected population growth.
