We are making some changes to our GP appointment system from 1st August. We hope that these changes will make it easier for patients to book a routine appointment and help ease pressure on our staff for urgent appointments.
URGENT care (where care is required the same day or in the next 48 hours)
- Please phone BEFORE 10:30am for any URGENT matter. Your need will be assessed and you will offered an appointment with the most appropriate person. Appointments will be available over the following 2 days and the majority will be face to face.
- If your problem is assessed as needing same day care, then you will either be offered a face to face appointment that day or further assessed via a phone call to determine the next steps
ROUTINE care (where care is not required urgently)
- Please phone AFTER 10:30am to book a routine telephone or face to face appointment.
